Offer Of Appointment Rescinded

I'm currently a senior in high school and I've accepted my offer of appointment (haven't sent in the packet yet). Tomorrow my school is having a talent show and my friend and I are planning on singing a song that some might say is in bad (terrible) taste. Most people would recognize that it's satire, but some don't. So my question is, will USNA rescind my offer if they catch wind of this? Do they rescind offers for conduct even if no laws are broken?

You've made the right choice. This wasn't the smartest question, but you're on the right track now. Best of luck to you at USNA. Take advantage of everything there, and remember it's about service!
 
My DS also received appointment to USNA, I always tell him before he walks out of the house to becareful. " You are now the property of USNA representing USA so behave!" He gets little annoyed but he is only 17 & needs constant reminding;)
 
If you had to ask this question about being tasteless at a talent show to begin with, then I say go and sing and dance for the world. That will be one more slot available for the thousands of fine young men and women waiting for their appointment.
