My son has a Senator NOM and is waiting like most to see if he gets an Appointment. A few days ago he received a letter from NROTC offering him a 4 yr scholarship.

I loved his response, "Dad, I've got my ticket to becoming an officer." The next day he received an acceptance letter from Auburn to go with it and will await the April 1 responses from Vanderbilt and UVa.

I did receive some feedback yesterday from the SE Regional Director for USNA admissions, who said, "60% of our offers go out in the Feb/Mar time frame." And then confirmed the April 15 end date. So... we wait :)

Best wishes! Good to know that the NROTC comes snail mail in some cases. My son is going to break the portal.
 
Congratulations! Multiple roads lead to "ensign", right?
Here's hoping your DS gets the Annapolis road too!
