He actually received a call from both his Senator and Congressman stating he had the nom so I'm not really positive who gave it to him!

BFE came on Friday!!! it was dated February7, OH 13th District, Principal nom, I am a DS, and good gosh it's nice to have it in hand :shake:

Status Page Appointment Status reads: Appointment Offered

DS checked his status page this morning (as he does every day) and the Appointment Status now reads "Appointment Offered". There is also a new link to "Instructions for Appointees" booklet. You had better believe that he was super excited to see that. No call from MOC; however, he did get a call when appointment was offered to USMA. He may call yet. Also, no BFE has arrived yet. Funny how different people are notified in different order. No matter, we are breathing a little easier. DS was "primary" nominee from MOC. I know, we went around and around on this board around whether a principle and primary meant the same thing. We will add to the list when he has the BFE and a date to go along with it. Best of luck to others on this board.

MomofFutureLeader, thanks for your update! We have been away from the computer for a few days (a lovely change) and hadn't checked the portal. We were wondering about the appointee booklet mentioned in another thread and where it was. Checked the portal today, and and found the update and link! Again, the forum answers and delivers! What did they do before this existed?

I did get my BFE today. I received a principal nom from my Congressman so I have known for a while that I was going to receive a BFE. I first knew for sure the BFE would come soon when I saw my status page change yesterday. It was just a matter of when. It is such a huge relief to have the weight off of my shoulders. This has been my dream for a long time and it going to become a reality. I am not a recruited athlete, however I may try to walk on for a couple of sports.
