Hello all! Im a sophomore in high school and as I see people applying I need to know I am on the right track. I play football, lacrosse, and basketball and have a 3.94 GPA. I am part of three clubs (one is for a fine art). I am also co director of a church program for young kids.

My question is am I on the right track? If not what am I doing wrong? I look over a lot of info from the internet (have done a lot of research) but some of it seems...inaccurate..so I have decided to go right to the source of good information.

Thanks for your time!

Could be better. nah your on the right track. keep up those grades and ECs!

Looks good from here, but leaves some questions still. When you say you have a 3.94 GPA, is that with all AP/honors courses? Since you're a sophomore, have you taken the PSAT yet? Also, are the sports you participate in varsity level or junior varsity?

One of the biggies that USAFA looks for is leadership. Try and become an officer in a club, a captain of your team, and/or a leader in your church. Your GPA sounds strong (I assume it is a 4 point scale), but make sure you are taking the strongest schedule that your school offers (and you can handle). You look like you're on the right track. A big plus is that you found this site and can get some insight on the process.

Good luck. :thumb:
