One last question - application complete

MDN18 - I wouldn't worry at all about the date, I had to wait for my gym teacher to submit my CFA and got my app done 1/6.

And you sound a lot like me, although I can't boast four years of varsity athletics. I've been committed to football and track and field (would consider walking on for track, maybe play sprint football) but only was considered a varsity starter (letter) as a senior for football.

And thank you SuaSponte! It should only be a couple weeks from when my app was complete?

Depends when your nomination slate is submitted, if everything is in on the app it should only be a couple weeks (that's how it was for me and most others).

My nomination appeared on my webpage in early December (I assume my Senator must have submitted his slate, as the Academy was able to post my nom).

Very excited to hopefully receive some official confirmation. If so, then my college application process will be over, and I'll be able to relax a bit.

Is there any logic in emailing my BGO or regional director to ask about my application status?

Your BGO -- no. He/she can't really provide any useful information. You will receive your appointment before your BGO knows about it.

Your RD -- In your particular situation, not yet. You said your CFA results were JUST loaded a day ago. Once USNA has everything, it usually takes 1-2 weeks for you to receive the BFE. Remember, too, that USNA has largely been on vacation the past two weeks, so there may be a few days of catching up.

If you haven't heard anything by the end of next week, then you might consider checking with your RD.

Thank you USNA1985. Time to wait, and enjoy senior year in the process.

Would the Office of Admissions be prompted once my app is complete so they can review it? All components had been uploaded prior to the new year except my CFA, which was uploaded 1/6. Principal nomination had been uploaded in early December.

Thanks again!

It might take a while but I'm sure they'll process it sometime soon, even if they don't you are still guaranteed admission barring a failed CFA or some odd circumstance where you aren't scholastically qualified (can't imagine that considering you're a principal nom).

Thank you! My gym teacher made it clear to me that my CFA was definitely satisfactory, and I even surprised myself a bit. I've had solid grades throughout my high school career, and the only small misstep I can see is a little struggle in my senior year AP Physics / BC Calculus courses, which are hands down the toughest courses at my school. And I've already received medical qualification.

Thank you for helping me to rest a bit easier, I know you definitely can identify with just how stressful senior year is. Hopefully we'll be at the same place June 1!
