Oregons 3rd district

Any district that has more than 10 people applying for 10 spots is "competitive." Unless you are prepared to move in the next month or so, you'll have to deal with whatever happens in the district in which you currently live.

Whether there are 11 people or 1100 people applying for the 10 spots, all you can do it put forth your very best application package.

And, remember, a nom is only part of the process. Last year there were quite a few candidates with 2 or even 3 noms that did not get appointments. And some of them were from super-competitive districts.

What I'm saying is that it is an intellectually interesting question but not all that relevant to your odds of getting an appointment, which is the end goal.
