I am in Colorado Springs right now getting ready to start orientation tomorrow and a paranoid thought crossed my mind. I never got a confirmation email saying that I registered for orientation. I went to the website and submitted my orientation information a couple weeks ago but I never received an email or anything confirming it. Are we supposed to receive an email or anything confirming we registered.?

i got one about boot purchase at orientation, but never a confirmation email...

Same here and I registered a long time ago. I'm sure we're fine or else we would have seen something pop up on one of the threads.....

I hope.

Good to know. I was a little worried for a bit that we might have drove all the way out here just to not have sent in my registration. Are you guys going to orientation tomorrow too?

im going next week... cant wait!! make sure you tell us all about it though

Hello to all...

we were in Co Springs last weekend for orientation and it went off without a hitch.

The busses picked us up at the hotel and dropped us at the field house where the appointees dropped of luggage, paid for meals and then we all boarded the bus for Arnold Hall. There was a nice brkfst and we went into the theatre for the briefings.

Parents on the bus were very chatty appointees not so much. My favorite part of the briefings was the NCO who will be overseeing BCT. It was a well orchestrated day!

Have fun and enjoy!!!

You're all gonna love orientation. I just came back from the springs about 20 minutes ago. My son came home for the weekend. The weather is great and suppose to be 60-70 all week. You'll have a great time spending the day/night with a cadet(s). Parents will also learn a lot. Just about every question you have will be answered for you. But if you still have some, definitely ask while you're there. Enjoy your time down there. best of luck... mike.....

CC is right... Orientation is a blast once you get past the Powerpoints... and even those have some great info.
