I found this from last year, it has some good objectives for everyone for all of the dinners coming up:

both parents and appointees, and even siblings if they're here, are more than welcome to attend. the dinners are really informal, and just something the cadets set up for a number of purposes:

1) let's appointees meet each other, as well as parents meet other appointee parents

2) put faces with screen names

3) give parents and appointees interaction with cadets to ask questions

4) get food (since you all need to eat anyway)

5) get the cadets away from USAFA for an afternoon ;)

My Wife, my Mother, Iron Eagle and his little bro Jeff just got back from tonight's (April 11) dinner. They reported that they had a very good time and that the Cadets had a LOT of information to offer the appointees, this is exactly what we hoping for. Thank you Cadets.

Remember, first 10 cadets on the list, dinner is on me. MAKE SURE you see me at the OG to get this taken care of. If my wife missed you (Raimius??) at the April 11th dinner please email me or see me at the dinner on the 18th, we'll make it right.
