Orientation Dinner

Yes there is a Red Robin right outside the south gate, near olive garden. I forgot to name that one but it is also a good option. I think the ones that have been mentioned before for orientation are:
-Famous Dave's BBQ (last year people met there after olive garden I believe)
-Red Robin (another good option)
-Olive garden (main orientation dinner)
I agree with you marciemi that we should try and stick to a nationwide chain restaurant, it will make everything much easier.

When you spoke to the counselor, were the dates listed above in my post correct?

I only specifically asked about the first one, but confirmed the first orientation was on the 12th/13th. I'm sure it's the next two weeks as well so your dates should be right, but don't quote me on this! :wink: I was more asking about the possibility of leaving a bit early on Tuesday to catch a flight out of Denver so my son could get back late that evening. We're flying out Thursday (no school that week) and coming home Tuesday night.

I asked if we'd have any trouble making a 5:50 flight out of Denver. She said that the orientation went until some time in the afternoon (yes, that's specific :rolleyes: ) but that if we needed to leave, there wouldn't be any problem.
 
We land on Sunday around 12:45 and will prob get to Hotel by 2pm or earlier, so dinner around 4:30/5pm sounds great.
TGI or Olive Garden sounds good...but we are open to anything :smile:

We arrive around the same time, I agree that sounds good. Famous Dave's or Red Robin is more our style....... but we are easy. We look forward to meeting everyone. Wahoo!!
 
You also can't go wrong with Old Chicago. I've become a fan.

About 2 miles south on I-25 from the south gate. That sounds great to me and I am open for all suggestions. The final decision will be made when there are more people to contribute. There should be a big group in March that need to have a say. Sounds even better if hornet and eagle can make it.

Well, I didn't mean just cadets, there should be a lot of classmates there also. Sounds like T.G.I. is a popular option. I'll try to call and ask if they take reservations, it is a pretty small place (at least from the outside).
