Hey folks, posting something I've already talked about before:

Anyways does anyone have advice as to how to get OSI after commissioning from ROTC? I am an AS200

I study digital computer design (tech major) and will be applying for field training as non-rated. I have a 3.4 tech GPA, and will be getting a 3.75 or 4.0 this semester. I have a 97 PFA and assume I have a good commander's ranking as I received our detachment's Cadet of the month award in an As200 class of 60 plus cadets.

Finally I work at a small defense contractor doing network administration and IT. I will be receiving a clearance soon.

Does anyone know what else I can do to better my chances for OSI?

Ensure your CC knows your intentions, we had one the class prior and they helped them get there. They look at a lot and you need their recommendation.

Unfortunately my CC is retiring after this school year, so I guess I'll hit the ground running in my 300 year in regards to this.

Make sure the other cadre know then, specifically the OIC
