Other scholarship monies

Son will call CGA on Monday to ask, but I thought I'd ask here first, since there is so much wisdom on this forum:

Is there a way to deposit money from other scholarship sources (athletics, booster club, chuch) into a swab's school account, not personal bank account?

I think I saw this discussed for one of the other SA's, but I don't know if they all operate the same.

If someone knows, can you please post! Thanks!
 
Son still has an account here at home so we put the money in there when it was awarded. We then had him get the cash later (Thanksgiving?) and deposit in his Navy Federal account.
Now some organizations want to see a schedule or something official from the school before they release the money.Our son's was from the High School Band Boosters and he had to show that he was doing music at CGA so he faxed them a copy of his schedule.
Anyone Else???
 
Please correct me if I'm wrong (I probably am!!), but I thought there was some type of accounts where cadets' monthly pay offset the expenses for uniforms, laundry, barber, etc.). Is that true or I am confusing CGA with another SA?

The scholarship my son was awarded, needs to be payable to the school, not to him personally. So, we cannot deposit it in a personal bank accounts.

Any ideas? Or maybe we just lose this money. Already paid the intial $3,000., so we didn't miss June 1 deadline.

Never mind! I found a really good thread addressing this same issue. Questions answered...it's called a white card account! Thanks!
