AN OVERNIGHT THUDGATE!!! Oh, I can't believe I'm here instead of there for this!

    From the Zoomie news:

Academy to Allow Overnight Tailgating for Navy Game
Air Force athletics is providing fans a unique opportunity when service-academy rival Navy comes to Falcon Stadium Oct. 6 for a record-early 9:30 a.m. kickoff.

Yea; for some silly reason; the game starts at 9:30am. Probably some idiotic CBS thing. Now I have no plans on spending the night at the academy stadium, but I will be going down on Friday night. I'll have to chat with some of the "Thudsters" to see if we want to do anything that night or just start at 6am with a Thudgate Breakfast edition. Either way; I'll have my beer and weed. Time..... is strictly relative. "So says Einstein". (It's NOON somewhere in the world). Going to be an interesting day.

Steve, I was thinking that 45 JROTC kids might not go well with Christcorp's plans for that Saturday morning.

    Isn't that a Jimmy buffet song? It's 5 o'clock someplace?

Have a great time all, and hey, I'm sure one of you has a camera! Post some pictures!!!

(Steelers have a bye this week (for which the Nation is grateful) so I'll be watching Saturday morning with interest, in my $5 Falcons T-shirt.)

Steve's not bringing the 45 kids to the Navy game. They're coming "Tomorrow" for the CSU game.

Steve; you better bring the kids to thudgate to say hi. Or at least you need to stop by yourself.

    Navy Tailgating

We are sitting at the North Gate waiting for them to let civilians in at 8 for the CSU game. I asked the guard what time we will be allowed in next Sat for Navy, and he said not until 8! I thought I read somewhere that the gate opens 4 hours before kickoff. Anyone know how we can find out for sure?
