Parents Present? Not Present for I-Day?

If there is only resources for one trip, then go to Parent's Weekend. That will be the first time out for fourth class cadets and the time away relaxing will be very appreciated. But if there are resources for mulitple trips, then definitely go to I-Day as well.

Son still has not heard, but thinking very positively!

What if your son is not yet 18? Does a parent need to go to sign emancipation or anything?

You need to be 18 by June 24th, if you aren't then the parents have to sign for him. On my appointment it said that I could sign if I would be 18 by June 24th, if not, there was a separate line for the Parent/Guardian signature.

Later,

Brian

afacga, even if your son is not 18 by 24 June, it is still not required for the parent to attend I-Day, as all the paperwork that needs signatures from the parent would have been sent back via mail already.
