I'm a sophomore who's in IB classes, and as of now I have a 4.5 weighted and a 3.9 unweighted GPA... I'm starting a club I'm planning to captain and I'm going to run for next year's student council. I'm still working on the athletic side, (the only sport I have is badminton this year, I'm doing track in January) but I was just wondering, for those of you that were accepted or know people who were accepted, if there is anything that can really cement your place as a competitive candidate for USNA? Programs, volunteering at a certain place, certain sports, etc.? There are so many who apply who were captain of a team and/or club and on student government, so what makes a certain candidate stand out?

    Thank you
