Just out of curiosity...

Is there any significance to who's been hearing about appointments sooner as opposed to later?

I only ask this because the Academy itself said that all decisions have been made, and they are just waiting on approval to release them.

I've heard stories about people getting both accepted and rejected even in April. Only time can tell. Good luck guys! Hang in there.

According to a post on the class of 2018 summer seminar group on Facebook, "lots of appointments will go live on portals on or before March 20th."
 
News?

There were several appointments posted on 3/13 and 3/14. Did anyone get a portal update, or were these all notified by MOC?
 
I received an appointment through my senator that I was receiving an appointment and that the portal and packet would be shipped out the 20th of march.
 
Does anyone know if NJ applicants have been notified? Haven't seen a single one on the appointment feed.

Do not give up hope. The majority of the Class of 2017 found out from the portal on March 18th last year. But, as an example, one of my cadet's squad mates found out two weeks before he had to leave for BCT. Expect the best news, plan for the rest.

Last year the majority of appointments went out around the third Monday of March...which would be tomorrow. Am I right in guessing that is when most of the appointments will happen?

Yes, the floodgates are about to open. The vast majority of appointments have been made and members of congress have been notified. Most portals will update by March 20th as well. Good luck, keep your fingers crossed!! :thumb:

Besides appointment letters, will rejection letters go out around the same time? I'm a self prep this year and last year I didn't get a rejection letter until early April. Just wanted to figure out a time frame.
