I checked my portal today and saw this:

We have received all your application information and the Admissions Committee has qualified your file. West Point has eliminated rolling admissions for this cycle. As such, all qualified applicants are placed on a National Waiting List until appointments are made. Most appointments will be tendered between 26 February and 1 May 2014.

You have demonstrated strong initiative and diligence in completing your file. Although qualified, you are still competing for admission and should continue to update your record with significant achievements in academic, leadership, and extracurricular and athletic activities. Do not forget to include standardized test scores or updated transcripts from your most recently completed academic semester. We will continue to add achievements to your file through the end of February 2014.

Although most offers of admission will be tendered before 1 May 2014, final selection from the waiting list may be made only a few days before the class enters.

Did anybody else get this?

Yeah I got that a couple of weeks ago. It's WP telling you that you're fully qualified (3Q'd) and that you're now on the NWL. Welcome to the waiting game!

This means your file has gone before the admissions board and they have deemed you fully qualified. That is a good thing! Best of luck to you! There should be another wave of appointments within the next two weeks.

Does this mean that I'm basically wait listed or am I waiting to find out if I got an appointment?

It means exactly what it says.

So my field force representative told me I was academically qualified. I recently got medically qualified and even though I never got any confirmation, I know I am physically qualified. Should I see this letter soon? I was informed of being 3Q'd this past weekend.

You could conceivably receive an appointment before that letter is ever uploaded to your portal. From what I've read here, getting that letter uploaded might depend on how the Regional Commander handles his files. Some upload that letter; some don't. If your FFR has told you that you are 3Q, then I would take it to be true. Now, it's just a matter of where you are in WCS against others on your slate(s) or the NWL.

Good Luck!

What is the WCS?

I'm also from Ohio and haven't received one.
