Personal Internet Access, Worth it?

Is the personal internet access worth it? What amount of money will be charged?
Can somebody give me an insight on what exactly would happen if I opted out? If I did, and later decided that I wanted it, would I have to wait until the next semester to opt in? How much liberty do cadets get in terms of navigating the web?
Just want to make an informed decision.
Any information is appreciated.

From a Mom's point of view (since I get to pay the data overage charges on the cell phone) I would say go with the internet option WP is offering. My current cadet agrees that it is a better connection and the 10-15 dollar charge per month is worth it since the other internet access is spotty and unreliable, which makes you rely on your phone data.
