PFE Scores?

I finished the online application, a lot of stress is now suddenly gone!
I have a question about the PFE part of the application. If we took the PFE at AIM, does the CGA have our scores on hand, or will we be getting another sort of document asking for it? I don't recall the application asking what our scores were.
Thanks to anyone who replies.

I'm fairly certain that those scores aren't kept on record here. You'll have to get an authorized person to re-administer it to you and turn it in with your final packet. There should be instructions on the proper procedure.

Let me emphasize this: work on proper form with your pushups and sit ups. They WILL crack down on you here and it's better for you to work hard and gain the proper technique now than wait until you get here.

Last year we had to send in supplemental paperwork after we finished the online application. With that we had submitted her PFE scores.

When she did not get in EA1, we sent in updated PFE scores anytime we submitted additional documentation throughout the process. We tried to show she was dedicated and was working to improve her scores while waiting for a decision on her appointment.

As far as I remember, they did have her AIM PFE scores in her file as well.

Hope that helps and good luck! :thumb:

I'd like to add one point of clarification on the PFE. I was a cadre this past summer for the Swabs and our swabs personally had the worst PFE records for a company as a whole. Only 40% of them passed their initial test at the Academy (By passed I mean above a 200) That being said, by the time the official test at the beginning of the semester came around, all 36 of them passed the test. Their cadre will ensure that they get to the standard, if they can at least get themselves to the class standard or the Swab Summer standard, and if they're willing to work.

That's a scary set of numbers for Swab PFE's. Happy to hear you got them all in shape. You guys did a great job this past summer! :thumb:

You're telling me. I was cadre one, so we didn't get to do anything week one until they took the PFE on Friday then we left for summer Leave on Sunday... it was pretty disheartening. We basically did practice PFEs every day during whatever "free time" they gave to the Cadre during our last two weeks.

From the PFE section of the application: "If you completed and passed the PFE during AIM 2011, and do not plan to retake it, please enter "AIM" for the administrator's first and last name and "AIMPFE(at)uscga.edu" for the e-mail address." You can reassign your PFE administrator from your ApplyWeb personal activity page (link provided in your application confirmation message) if you missed this step while completing your application or you can always just retake the PFE and send the new results in.
