I now have an appointment to both the Naval Academy and the Air Force Academy. Is it possible to find out if I am physically qualified to go to pilot training in the future?

How can I find out soon, if flying is even a possibility for me?

I have had surgery on my arm twice.

If it doesn't show on your DoDMERB status page (last year I think it did) your best bet is to contact their help desk--their email is HelpDesk@dodmerb.tma.osd.mil or call 1-800-841-2706.

But remember, even if now you've been cleared to enter an academy, you'll have a comprehensive physical during your jr. year (at least at the AFA) which will determine if you can go to flight school or have a rated position. Things can change after your entrance to an academy, so they want to make sure that you still qualify.
