Hello

I have really low 9th and 10th grade gpa..

2.78 - Freshman
2.9 - Sophomore
3.9 - junior

1960 - SAT
I'm from fcps county which has very high education system. (3rd in us)

I did pretty good in junior year, I took jrotc and participated a lot. (drill , raider team)
I did varsity soccer , track , football and I'm president of 2 school club and 1 volunteer club. School president at middle school. Also, I played piano for school's choir and I volunteered 600 hours.

The reason I got low gpa at 9~10 grade was my English.. I came from France 3years ago but I tried a lot on my junior year.. Any chance of Vmi or citadel for me?

Nice improvement! Good for you! You'll never know if you don't apply. Take the SAT a couple more times. Good luck!

Your application only has one page for transcripts, the application is looking at alot of different areas. I think the board will see the change of attitude in the numbers and understand. There looks to be lots of improvement done on your behalf. The only way to know is to submit the best application you can. In the areas you still control, make it the best you can. Good luck!

There is an essay, I would mention that you came from France, and that will help your number I believe.
I take it you also speak French fluently? This is another big plus on your application.

I strongly encourage you to apply for the ROTC scholarship, as well as to the schools you mentioned.

Your SATs are great, and also your GPA gets recalculated once you send in the transcript depending on their scale. My school told me my WEIGHTED gpa was 3.1. Well, to AROTC my GPA was a 3.7 unweighted and 4.0 weighted. You mention your school's county is very highly respected, that should work in your favor.
