I am currently in the DEP for the Marines and I went to the dermotologist for a skin problem that flared up on my hand and feet. The doctor looked at it and said he was pretty positive it was psoriosis. I have lived with it since about the age of 8 but have never seeked treatment for it, I usually would just use lotion for it. It has never stopped me from playing sports or doing any activities, I just learned to deal with it since Ill most likely have it forever. It comes and goes when it wants, it can be there for 6 months but then not be there for a year or two, I know it wont stop me from doing anything since I already have had it and had to deal with it most of my life, but I am freakin out that I will be discharged because they wont waive the psoriosis. can anyone tell me what might be the chances of them waiving it, or any statistical data from previous cases from before that have been waived or discharged. just thinking of being discharged and not able to join the military is tearing me apart. can anyone please give some insight or knowledge- Thank you
