PO Box/Company Assignment

The last admissible packet said that we would have our mailing addresses and company assignments by June 16, yet I can't seem to find anything on my portal. Has anyone had any luck with this?

No one has them. Despite what we were told, they haven't been posted yet.

There's still a few weeks to go - mail takes 2-3 days to arrive, and last year, no mail was distributed to many new cadets for at least a week (some sort of a mix up affected more companies than not); so plenty of time for you to get the address. Also, unless something has changed from last year, company assignments are distributed on R-day as you process.

Keep checking your portal this week. Per Deb Dalton (WP parent liaison), addresses will be posted sometime this week.

Looks like they just posted the PO Box address on the "Home" tab of the Candidate Portal.

That would most certainly not be sufficient. The post office has a lot of mail to go through on a regular basis and I'm about 90% certain that something like that would be returned to sender.

There is a small chance that they would not be busy and would go through to find out which PO Box belonged to the New Cadet, but we were often told that mail that didn't have the box number would be returned to sender.

The best bet would be to wait until you have a Po Box number and then send it.

Addresses are up on the portal on the home page in the same area where they list your last successful log in data. We were told to use "New" in front of Cadet during Beast and then drop the "New" thereafter. So, New Cadet Joe Smith during Beast and just Cadet Joe Smith after A day.
