I think that getting in a supercar at a race track is taking a risk. I wouldn't say that it is the manufacturer's fault, unless it was defective from the factory. If the car had potential problems, the owner should have had it inspected before driving it like that.

Should supercar manufacturers have training classes? Yes. Whether they should be free or mandatory, I don't think so. If a person can afford that kind of car, they can afford some lessons.

The funny thing is that one of the "problems" stated is the car's tendency to oversteer. IT'S A RWD CAR!!! Of course it's going to oversteer. Throttle-induced oversteer is one of the reasons they're such good cars to race. You can counter-steer and throttle steer your way through pretty much anything.

Yeah. Sue because your husband was too stupid to realize that racing a car at 145 MPH might be a tad dangerous but did it anyway.

We're doomed. Doomed, I tell you. :frown:

I love Porsche's! Fun to drive!

I hate morons that refuse to take responsibility. Suing the manufacturer for improper use by the owner? What next, aircraft owners suing because the pilot crashed the plane because it was too much for him? I'm sick and tired of people not taking responsibility. I hope he gets NOTHING from Porsche.

And that's why Europeans laugh at us. We sue for too hot coffee and fatty food we can't resist.

But when we go to the ER after a heart attack, at least we don't have to wait in line. :thumb:

It's completely true. People simply CANNOT seem to take responsibility for their actions, and what it will lead to is a slow down in the trek of civilization.

    Your husbands dead.

No amount of money is going to bring him back (I mean unless you just married him for money anyhow, and this could lead to an unexpected drop in money reserved for shopping binges.)

I have heard more ridiculous things...Whats next suing the Army because you got shot in Iraq??
