I just received a nomination letter from my MOC. He uses the competitive method instead of the principal method. I was wondering what the chances are of getting into NAPS with a nomination. Is it an advantage for NAPS to have a nomination? I'm physically and medically qualified with outstanding character and leadership ability, but I do believe that I would be suggested to go to NAPS for academics instead of an automatic appointment. I'm currently in college and train for football as well. Should I get in contact with the coaches in case it raises my chances for NAPS? Thank you very much in advance for this help.
