I am a sophomore in college trying to contract in AROTC. I have 2 possible disqualifications for the medical exam and was wondering if you could help?

1) I had tubes in my ears and tympanoplasty to correct hearing problems about 6 or 7 years ago. My hearing now is good in my right ear, but is literally "on the line" as far as acceptable goes for the left ear...and possibly just barely outside those limits. I have no problems with my ears, such as equalization, etc. and have perfecty intact eardrums. Passing the hearing test is a concern however.

2) I had a seizure 5 years ago. It ended up being a singular episode and, although I was medicated for some time, I have been completely off medication (as advised by my doctor) for 2 years. I don't have a "disorder" and was not diagnosed as having one. My neurologist has medically released me and all of my EEG's have been normal.

Would these be disqualifiers for an AROTC contract? And if so, how "waivable" would they be? Also, would a waiver be denied because of multiple disqualifications or is each waiver considered strictly independently?

Thank you very much
