I am simply curious as to what the most common medical issues are that end up in medical disqualifications. In addition, does anyone know if Lyme Disease is one such issue, and could it be waved?
Thanks in advance.

I'm moving this to the DODMERB forum where Larry Mullen would best be able to assist you.

Just as an asside but Mr. Mullen is the go to guy. My son had serious Lyme when he was about six. They told us that he would always test positive when tested in the future. Did not have a problem with DoDMERB and there was no "waiver" issue.

AF6872 is correct for "his son's case." And we are glad it worked out well for him.

The reason I don't make blanket statements here, is because there are no blanket answers. When we get down in the weeds, there's usually something else or I meant it this way or it effected me that way. What occurs for one, doesn't necessarily occur for another becasue of different circumstances:thumb:
