So what does the average new cadet do during Plebe Parents Weekend?

No such thing as a plebe at USAFA.

The average doolie will go to the game on Saturday morning, then spend the rest of the weekend with parents. Could go to Denver, veg in their hotel room, see Garden of the Gods, etc. etc.

Someone posted this last year and I was SO appreciative!

PARENTs: Make your reservations NOW--TODAY-- if you plan to visit USAFA for Parents' Weekend! All the accomodations in town sell out, jack up their rates, etc. So booking now of course gets you a room secured, but sometimes you can even lock-in a somewhat decent rate.

Parents' Weekend is the BEST! I'm sorry I don't know the exact dates for 2009 but it usually is the weekend of Labor Day.

mccluskey83 - a main difference is Parent's Weekend at USAFA every year is for all classes, not just the fourth class.
