I have a friend's who's child is thinking about applying to multiple SAs. I know this child has had a serious medical condition in the past that might (or might not) be a DQ.
Should I advise them to contact Mr. Mullen even though she hasn't applied yet? She is in 10th grade. What I am trying to do is to help them not get their hopes up just to find out later they never would have been medically qualified due to the condition. I figure based on the medical condition it would be a DQ, but I don't want to tell them that and destroy dreams when I really don't know for sure.
Any thoughts?
