On the Academy website it says that you should not submit a pre candidate questionnaire if you submitted an application for SS. I was not selected for SS, so what do I do now in respect to the online application? Do I just sit tight and wait?

Yes. If you applied to SS then you don't need to do another pre-candidate questionnaire. Your application to SS served that purpose.

In late June or July you will receive notification that you can start your actual AFA application, using the info from your SS application as the starting point. Much of it will be done online, but there will be a checklist of things to do with an instruction booklet that you can download. One thing you can do before school is out is decide which teachers you want to do online evaluations for you. They have to be from junior or senior year, and the AFA prefers they be from math, science and lang. arts. If you're using teachers from junior year, go ahead and ask them and get their e-mail addresses that they will check over the summer. The AFA will contact them at this address and give them the link to the online eval. You may also want to check out the CFA (fitness test) and start practicing.
