Sorry to repost here, but I didn't get a reply on the prep forum.

Can DS turn down his USAFA Prep School offer if selected from the NWL from another academy?

Yes, they are 2 separate SA's, one has nothing to do with the other. Even after accepting, you could still turn it down and/or change your mind.

Did your DS get a USAFA prep school offer next class? If so, may I ask when that offer came? Thanks!

Keep in mind that one of them is a "bird in the hand". I would think very carefully. Not saying you shouldn't turn it down but I would only do it if my heart was set on the non-Prep academy.

Thanks, I appreciate it and agree with you. When we were discussing it over, I thought it was a valid question to post and ask about.

Definitely go to USAFA prep. That's a decision he won't regret if his end goal is USAFA
