Prep. School?

Frankie,

To be accepted to NAPS you need to go through the full Academy application process, including the nomination process. You are placed in the prep school by the academic board. My son just went through this process. He has everything they are looking for but his ACT was a little low.

Also, many roadblocks will be thrown at you. Be patient. It is a frustrating process but worth it in the end!!!

Nothing is ever a sure thing. Being enlisted might increase your chances to a certain extent, but there are no guarentees. As for the "automatically considered for Prep school": that goes for everyone. When the admissions board goes through applications and determines whether or not to offer an appointment, Preparatory School/Foundation Scholarships are also considered, regardless of whether you're prior enlisted or not.

While applying for a nomination, are soldiers competing with high schoolers as well? Or just other soldiers ?

How long do standardized test scores last?

Say I took the test in 2005, would I have x amount of years until that "expires" or would I be able to use said test score after a limitless number of years?
