Although this video is specific to NMMI and the USMMA (The USMMA does not use NAPS anymore - it sends Preps to NMMI), the cadet interviewed makes some very good points about the benefits of spending an "extra" year prior to going to an academy. These benefits are generic, and anyone receiving the chance to go to any of the Prep Schools is being given a "gift" that will continue to be helpful during their time at any of the academies.
