Does anybody know that these acronyms are? I asked my dad. He didn't even know. And we're not sure whether USAR stands for US Army retired or reserve. And the information in the parenthesis, is that the discharge order; DD214? Thank you

    USAR (ARPC Form 249-2-E)

That form appears to be the Chronological Statement of Retirement Points from the US Army Reserve Personnel Center (just Googled it).

That's us army reserve. Print the form, sign it, attach the dd 214, and then scan a copy to your region tech.

Thanks, 845! Exactly what I've been trying to find out from the beginning :thumb:

All right. I've gotten my papers ready to go for the Pres. Nomination.

    Last question...

I am choosing to mail in the letter, and I assume I mail it straight to West Point admissions?
--> West Point Admissions - 606 Thayer Rd, Bldg 606, West Point, NY 10996

Sorry for the obvious question and all. I'm trying to make sure I make no mistakes. Thank you

Yes, to admissions. Keep a scanned copy for yourself as well.

How many years did your dad serve in the Army?
