Hi, I am a recipient of a principal nomination and to my knowledge have fulfilled 3Q "requirements". I have not found any correspondence online regarding being 3Q'd...have I missed the cut? Should I continue to worry and pluck my head bald or promise the mailman I will stop stalking him? It seems late in the game for a principal to hear back.

I thought my DS was pulling his hair out!! Are all of you portal flags green? Have you received a Qualified candidate letter on your portal? Are all medical waivers (if any) approved? If all of the above is yes. Then you should be good... if not I would contact your regional commander or FFR ASAP and ask for conditions check...
Best of Luck

I was in your boat about a month ago. I emailed my FFR and asked him about my qualification and he said I was good to go, but he didn't know why the portals wasn't updated. After another couple of days, I emailed my admissions officer and the next day I was 3Q'd and not even an hour later I was appointed.

Best of luck!

DODMERB had been cleared since September; however, CFA and 7th Semester transcript did arrive in the last days of February.

Was in the same boat as you a month ago. Emailed my FFR, who emailed my region commander my principal nomination letter. A few days later, I was found 3Q. At this point, admissions is focusing on giving out appointments to competitive noms, and may not automatically search to give you that 3Q letter so emailing your FFR and your region commander will speed it up!
Congrats!!! You're almost there :)

Just shot my FFR an email. Thanks for the insight and support! (And congratulations yourselves)
Maybe in the next couple weeks I'll get a surprise in my mailbox. :)

Qualification is not instantaneous. If you didn't submit your CFA until the end of February, then your file wasn't complete until then. Your completed file goes into the stack with everyone else's...when you wait until the end, there are more to go through. The qualification process can take a week or two if there is nothing that needs special review, especially at this point of the year because of sheer volume. Once it is qualified (a series of checks), then it can go forward to the admissions committee for appointment the following Tuesday. Then the offer can go out, giving the MOC 72 hours to notify you before it will post in your portal...usually a Friday afternoon. This is the reason everyone on here specifically tells you to finish your file early. You have no one but yourself to blame for waiting until the deadline.
