I just received a call from my Academy Coordinator for my MOC and she told me that I received a nomination! I was wondering about the princip nomination. Would that be on the letter that I am going to receive from my MOC telling me that I got a nomination and would that give me an automatic appointment?

    Thanks,

    nomination

I do not believe the letter explicitly states whether or not you recieved a principal nomination, but I could be wrong. And, unfortunately, a principal nom. is not a guaranteed appointment. But, it puts you closer to receiving an appointment than someone who did not get the principal nom. Congrats on the nomination though.

If you have a Letter of Assurance from West Point stating your appointment is contingent upon reception of a nomination, then you will be appointed. If you do not have an LOA, you are one step closer to acceptance.
