Prior enlisted paygrade after commission?

I have a quick question. I have been accepted into NAPS class of 2011 and if all goes as planned, I will be graduating USNA with the class of 2015. Before entering NAPS I will be enlisted for 3 years. When I graduate and get comissioned in 2015 will I be a O-1E with 4 years or a O-1E with 8 years since I have been enlisted for 3 years and will have spent 1 year at NAPS and 4 years at USNA? Does the time I put in at those institutions count towards my retirement?

I completely understand exactly what you're talking about. I'm also scheduled to attend NAPS class of 2011 and I have a little over 3yrs in. From what I've heard and read....the time at NAPS does count towards retirement but the time at USNA doesn't. So assuming we graduate USNA, I believe we'll get O1-E pay with 4 yrs in.
