Problem with AROTC Scholarship

Alright, so I finished my application for a 4 year national scholarship, and when I checked my status it said I was ineligible because I had previously earned college credits and that I had to provide information on how and why I had earned them. I then faxed in all of the information, and my status changed to an active and eligible applicant.

Now today, I got a letter written on January 7th, saying my application had been reviewed and was incomplete and I need to provide information on my college credits to be considered for a scholarship.

Does this mean they didn't have my explanation of my credits and I wasn't reviewed by the January 7th board and will have to try again on the next board? I'm just freaking out a little because all of my college decisions are going to have to happen before the last board even happens, so I don't know what to do.

Does anyone know anything about what could have happened and what I should do about it?..

my understanding is the college credit thing will not keep you from being considered for a scholarship. The letter you received from Cadet Command may have been sent before you sent in your info regarding the credits. Were you expecting to be boarded on the second board? Have you submitted transcripts, test scores, PFT scores, and an interview? If so, contact your processor, or the ROO at one of the schools on your list and make sure you are board ready. If you are board ready you are good to go.

Yes everything was in way ahead of time, including my explanation of college credits. I have been an active eligible applicant for at least a month. I'm just scared that they missed it so I wasn't reviewed by this board, because with everything I know I should have been reviewed by this board..

I also received a letter today informing me that I was missing many parts of my application that I actually wasn't missing; I'm guessing there are problems with the computer system right now

Okay that's really good to know! Hopefully the letters were the mistake and we actually did go before the board!

Well gentlemen. I would do what I could to pursue it and ensure it was only a temporary glitch and not a total screw-up.

Check it out...if one of my applicants contacts me and asks, I can see what they have submitted, and what is not posted. I can also tell if they were board ready or not. If you haven't talked to either your processor or a ROO you can keep asking the discussion boards until the cows come home, but you won't know for sure.

I checked. You are listed as board ready.
