I've completed and submitted all of my application (except the CFA) since August and have been hard at work at improving my scores (BB:35, Push:20, Curl:56, Sprint:12 s, 1MR: 730) and would 1) like to know if these are 'good' scores in comparison to most, and 2) if I should take the CFA now and take my chances or the f I should wait till the end of October and risk it. I know that I can retake ithe CFA but I'd like to present the best possible application on the first try.

Thank you for all of your advice! You all have been an amazing fountain of knowledge these past few months.

I strongly suggest you work hard focusing on improving your scores, especially push-ups and sit-ups before taking your official CFA. Try these from Cerberi and CAPT:

Spend 2 weeks with P90X and you will improve everything but the basketball throw. (many other similar workout programs)
