Glad to join the forum. My son recently returned from Summer Seminar at West Point. He has come home very excited about seeking an appointment to one of the service academies. I spent just over twelve years in the Marine Corps and would in many ways love to see him go USNA Marine option but would much rather him find his niche, wherever that may be. We are just keeping our fingers crossed that it all works out for him. He has chosen the honorable path of service to his country, and who would not be proud of that.
