should I use my psat scores which are better then my sat scores that I took last spring. Do I have to post both scores or only use my best test which is the psat test I just took in October. I took the sat again in Dec and will get my scores in 2 weeks. I know my scores will be much better then the 1st test. Any advice on what to do, send only psat, or psat and bad sat, or wait and send psat and improved sat scores in 2 weeks. SS application all ready to submit except for the test score decision to make. Any help or suggestions greatly appreciated

Hmmm send in bad scores OR send in scores that SHOULD be better...

Of course send the better scores (When they come in and if you get better ones)! :yllol::confused::yllol:

Send in PSAT scores and new SAT scores once you get them. You can update it, so submit with PSAT scores now.

I sent my psat scores in for my summer seminar last year and got in. I don't think the Academy expects all juniors to have taken the psat or act by the the time they submit their summer seminar applications.

    I can't really answer, because I'm a little confused.

You too the PSAT AFTER taking the SAT???? Why would you do this??? Except for applying for the National Merit Scholarship Program, I can't see taking the PSAT if you've already taken the SAT or ACT. Now; if this is the reason you took the PSAT, then my answer to you, is to submit BOTH scores. Actually, that's my suggestion no matter what the reason for taking the PSAT after taking the SAT. Submit all scores. And whether you get summer seminar or not; (It has no point value towards you receiving an appointment or not), i suggest taking the SAT and ACT as many times as you can physically and financially. You can NEVER go down in your score.

I still recommend sending ALL test scores. I brought up the order, because the last few school districts my kids were in, they took the PSAT at the end of their sophomore year or first part of their junior year. The school district also paid for them to take the ACT test one time. After that, they took the SAT and/or ACT as many times as they could fit in and afford during their junior and senior years.
