Push pull for next president and military

Do you think that with the elections going on, if someone were to win would they attract people to want to join the military or make people stay away?

Be interesting to find out. There are SO MANY reasons for wanting to enlist or become an officer, though. One big one for enlistees is the economic opportunity and the job training. Same variety with officers. I suppose it's possible that some fraction of people will be motivated to enlist/accede, but those tend to be pretty impulsive choices for a decision that lasts at least 4 years and usually longer.
