Hi, I am a high school senior currently applying for an Army ROTC scholarship.

A few months ago, I considered enlisting in the reserves. I eventually decided against it, but I did complete some paperwork, took the practice ASVAB, and took the real ASVAB. I scored a 98 AFQT (I believe this is the overall percentile) on the ASVAB, which my recruiter told me is very high, although I don't know how accurate that statement is.

Is a score of 98 something worth putting on the ROTC application? I'm thinking either in the "additional remarks" section, or as "other" for additional documents (I still have the print-out of all the individual category scores).

Thank you so much for your time.

Honestly - the ASVAB is solely for enlistment purposes and no one in the ROTC/Academy side of the house would really care. Nice job though!

I don't care about your ASVAB...how did you do on your SATs?

That's the only test score number you'll need.
