Qualified even though advised I would not be

I just wanted to put some good news out there for some of you that believe that you will not become medically qualified. I am a 4 year AROTC Scholarship winner in the 2nd board.

I have a metal plate and eight metal screws in my left fibula along with recurrent testicular torsion that was fixed with surgery. I was advised by the PMS at my school of choice that I would need a remedial/wavier. However, when I logged on to DoDMERB today, I was completely medically qualified without need for a remedial or wavier!

So to those nervous, just keep your heads up! You never know what might happen.

Congrats. That's great news. Shows you that only DoDMERB really knows the answer, and the only way to find out is to try.

My DD just got her waiver. Eyes not corrected to 20-20. Only one eye is an issue and it is corrected to 20-25. Stil had to get a waiver because it wasn't perfect!
