Hello,
I am currently applying for a Army ROTC Scholarship. I want to attend Duquesne University with the scholarship. The problem is, they do not have their own program. They are branched with the University of Pittsburgh. On the scholarship website where I chose my top colleges, Duquesne is not listed, but Pitt is. Do I check Pitt as my number 1? Is the scholarship money transferable from Duquesne to Pitt? Also how do I list on the application that I want to go to a branch school?
Thanks.

Duquesne is listed as one of the schools affiliated with the University of Pittsburgh program. You can verify this here: http://www.goarmy.com/rotc/find-schools.PA-.results.html#s12

Therefore you should list Duquesne among your choices. Cadet Command understands that even though the scholarship would be for Duquesne you would participate in UPitt's AROTC.

...How can the OP select Duquesne on the application if it isn't listed as an option?
You should contact someone at the battalion (enrollment/recruiting officer, perhaps) and ask them why it isn't listed. They may choose not to use any of their battalion scholarships at that particular school, or they may tell you to list the host school.

That's strange I applied to duquesne U last year and it was on the app.

Duquesne may no longer be allotted scholarships anymore, that could be the reason why.
