I checked my AROTC Scholarship App status online; it said I received a scholarship to 2 schools (1 private, 1 public). My first choice school, however, was not on the list. Is there still a chance that I may have received/will receive a scholarship to my first choice school? Thank you.

    Unfortunatly No.

The schools listed are the only schools that the scholarship will be awarded to.

You will, if you haven't already, receive a letter that states whether the scholarship is for 4 years or a 3 year Advanced Designee. If things follow suit the private will be for 3 years, the public if in state could be for 4 years, the letter will tell you for sure.

Honestly, does the first choice really matter? Are you planning to go to a prestigious school with an awesome engineering or economics program or something? If not, take what you can get a lot of people wish they just had one scholarship offer.

    Congrats on the offers.

Just take it. A lieutenant is a lieutenant. Most people don't get to be picky.
