Question about my DQ's

Hi, I just have some questions about the disqualifications that I received one my DODMERB physical and whether or not a waiver will cover them.
The first issue I was disqualified for was a history of Acid Reflux Disease (aka GERD) and I do not understand why that would disqualify me at all.
The second issue that I had was on a vacation i developed an infection in my right mastoid bone due to my eardrum rupturing while scuba diving (i also got a minor infection in my left ear). My doctor put tubes in my ears to help drain the infections as well as anti biotics to kill them off. Three months later my tubes were removed and (with minor scaring) the eardrums have healed with no hearing issues.
Are these issues waiverable or am I just hosed?
