Hi, I have a question about SMP(Simultaneous Membership Program).

I am in Army Reserve now and will finish my bachelor degree in this year.

Then I am planning to apply to MS degree and looking to do ROTC as SMP.

I found that SMP also cover up to 2 years of Master degree program.

But I am not sure that is for any universities in US or limited to some specific universities.

The university that I will apply for MS has the official website for ROTC.

They have information about SMP on bachelor degree, but they do not mention anything about MS on website.

So I am wondering. It will be amazing if SMP and benefit of SMP apply to any universities in US.

    Thank you.

Your best source of information will the cadre/ROO at the AROTC unit you are trying to join. The number of contracts they have available will be one factor beyond your control. Also, depending on if you desire to serve active duty or reserve will need to be addressed. Good luck and talk to them soon.

Feel free to give me a call or ask any questions about the SMP and masters program.

I am a National Guard APMS in Nebraska at Chadron State ROTC. I had a green to gold finish his masters last year and understand the SMP program very well.
