How do I upload AP scores and letters of rec? I've never personally submitted them because they are usually done through counselors, teachers, and the college board.

And what are the "legal paperwork" one must turn in? Is proof of citizenship your passport?

And my best assumption is that we get tattoo and body fat from our doctor which I'm already planning on doing.

    Thanks for the help.

You only submit the body fat, tattoo thing and legal paperwork if USMA asks you to.

AP scores should be reported with your transcripts from your school. Not through you.

Letters of rec really don't mean much or carry any weight. You can mail them to admission with you applicant number on them.

You are found to be a competitive candidate, your RC will make the recommendation for a DoDmerb appointment from a authorized doc.

Your second step will give you instructions to send a notarized copy of your birth cert

I think, by reading your post you may not be that far along on your portal. Have you received a nomination or had an interview yet?

I have not received an interview or nomination yet. When I turned in my application to my congressman's office, the secretary told me interviews are held mid December to early January. Should I wait until this I've talked to my congressman's office again? I don't want to procrastinate anymore considering how important this is to me.

So should I only upload my social security and birth certificates? Should I tell my counselor to send in my transcript? I don't have many people guiding me here so I'm completely lost. Thanks.

@EndangeredQuake if you are just thinking about starting your application now, you are behind the power curve. The nomination and application process are not linear, but rather concurrent. You need to turn all those check marks green before you start worrying about additional submissions like birth certificates, AP scores, etc.

Give us more info about yourself. Are you a senior? How are you doing in high school?

My son's USMA application is complete, with DoDmerb done, and a nomination. However, I don't recall him ever having submitted his birth certificate or SS card. Maybe I'm mistaken. Is that required for everyone? His portal says his application is complete. Should he be doing something?

That information will be required in your second step. This usually takes place after a appointment is given. You may not hear anything for the next few months. Most appointments will go out about the second week of February or so. BE flexible with the time frames things do change. The waiting is the grueling!!

Keep out or trouble, maintain the grades and stay health

    Good Luck

I'm a senior yes. I'm solid in my gpa (4.3 and an upwards trend). If you meant the current year, I'm currently drowning in calculus and chemistry on top of everything and is why I'm starting my application process now.

You're really behind on the application timeline, however a red flag is your struggle in two key subjects. Math and chem are real Plebe killers. If you do not have a strong foundation now, you'll have a bigger problem later. I would suggest, since you're real late in the game, take a year and really really work on math and chem at either a community college or a private prep school. Take college courses that parallel a first year cadet academic load. Next year be better organized and start the application process early.

How are you standardized test scores?
