Does the USNA look at your first semester senior grades/gpa? If so, how do applicants turn in their transcript including their senior year?

My recollection it that they do and you normally have your guidance councilor resend the transcript at the completion of the first semester. They will also want your final transcript as well as I recall.

First semester (term) senior year is only upon request by USNA...although if not requested you can always have transcript submitted by Guidance Counselor. There is a significant number of applicants with appointments and LOAs by December so, as an example, those applicants don't send in first term grades . You will see many posts here where candidates/parents indicate that applicants were asked for 1st term grades.... We were not asked and never sent them in (DS had LOA in October and Appt. in January).

I think they will request your 7th semester transcripts if they want them. It seems to be a mixed bag each year who they ask or do not ask for them. Don't read into it too much regardless. If you are appointed you are required to send in final grades prior to reporting.
