If a student is enrolled in AROTC with a cross town arrangement (like B.C. or Marist for example), are the classes and PT held on their campus or does the student have to travel to the host school?

I think it depends on the program. At the school I go to now the cross towners have their own classes and cadre. They still have to come to the host school a few times a semester for big events and FTXs. At the one I attended many moons ago, they had to commute to the host school for everything. Ask the cadre at the program you're looking to attend.

cross town

You need to check and be careful about this and register early. If you need to travel to other campus, later sections could fill up early leaving you with predawn travel twice a week.

Cross Town

This was the biggest stuggle for my DD. At her det all activities are at the host school which means she drives over 6-8 times a week :30min each way. PT, class, inspections, lab etc it all adds to the things you have to juggle.

Battalion dependent. All my schools are within a 15 minute drive, so they come to us. May not be the same elsewhere.

Like many others have said it's very Battalion Dependent. My Battalion is on the small side with only one cross town affiliate and a single host school. The only times the cross town affiliate comes to the host school is for MS class (Tues or Wed), PT (only on Fridays, Mon. Wed. are held at their school) and Thursday Lab.

In all it's at least 3 times a week, not including when we have FTXs or special events.

Battalion Dependent. .
I 4th that. When DD researched U of Miami (which was Cross Town to the Host school), she discovered that MSI and MSII did PT at U of Miami, but Class and Lab at the Host. By MSIII year, everything was at the Host. Lots of 60 minute round trips each week if she had chosen to go to Miami.
